Former Manchester United defender and pundit Gary Neville said on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football that he expects Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma to start against his former side. The Blues welcome the Red Devils at Stamford Bridge on Saturday in a game, which will surely have an impact on the title race. Neville said thatUnited are playing better than Chelsea at the moment but he expects Jose Mourinho to bring Zouma into the starting eleven to play alongside Nemanja Matic and look to close down the United attacks. He also added that the Frenchman has a physical presence of his own, which could help the home side keep hold of the ball and added,
“I think his first thought will be destruction, how I’m going to stop them and how am I going to win the game.”
“I think Zouma coming in is a good point he’ll play alongside Matic and sacrifice himself in the game.”
“That will give them Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Matic, Zouma, Drogba potentially and he’ll think I can win this game with a moment of magic from Hazard or set-pieces.”
“His team aren’t playing very well, United are playing better than them at this moment in time but he’ll stop that pattern on the left or he’ll want to and more often than not when he pays attention to things he does.”
