Chelsea have signed Monaco striker Radamel Falcao on a season-long loan deal, with the option to make the deal permanent, reports BBC.
“I am very happy to be joining Chelsea and can’t wait to start training,” Falcao said.
The Colombian international who was on-loan at Manchester United last season will be moving to London after making a decision to play for Chelsea. The Monaco striker had a horrible season with the Red Devils scoring only four goals in 29 appearances. Falcao will re-unite with former Atletico team mates Thibaut Courtois, Filipe Luis and Diego Costa at Stamford Bridge.
As a part of the deal, Croatian midfielder Mario Pasalic will be moving to France on loan for the season. It has also been reported that Chelsea will only be paying 50% of Falcao’s wages.
