It seems that the departures of Jonny Evans and Victor Valdes could be the only remaining business that Premier League giants Manchester United might do this summer. Though manager Louis van Gaal is still in pursuit of adding high quality reinforcements to his current squad, the Old Trafford faithful believe that the two departures could be the only deals that might happen now.
The Red Devils have been linked with a number of big strikers, as the Dutch manager is keen to compete for some major silverware this season.
However, Van Gaal is adamant to only sign players who will make a difference to his cause, which include Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller and Southampton winger Sadio Mane, though the clubs are not keen on selling any time soon.
Further, David de Gea is also exiled from the squad following constant interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid, though it seems he might not be moving away yet, as the club does not wish to comprise on his fee amount.
United will rather look to offload the former Barcelona star, Valdes and while Evans has come from the club’s youth team, has failed to impress in recent times to get a place in the starting eleven.
Valdes could be heading to Turkey with Besiktas interested, whereas West Brom have agreed a fee of £6m plus £2m in add-ons with Manchester United to sign defender Jonny Evans. The Irish International will be travelling to the Midlands later today and will complete his move over the weekend.
