We were fortunate enough to have weekend filled with goals last week, we have a look at the top 5 and ask you which your favourite is.
1) Gareth Bale vs Manchester United
Bale loves the big games, and again got himself on the score-sheet against in a memorable away win for the underdogs.
After dismissing the homes team’s attack, Sandro carries the ball towards the Manchester United half before laying it off to Bale. The Welshman then probes the United midfield and sprints past a struggling Rio Ferdinand, before hitting a delightful finish with his weaker foot into Lindegaard’s net.
2) Demba Ba vs Reading
Demba Ba reminded us why he is so highly rated with this unbelievable effort at Reading this weekend.
There didn’t look to be any danger when Cheick Tiote was dwindling on the ball just inside the Royal’s half, but when he floated a 40-yard pass over the top of the entire Reading team perfectly into Demba Ba’s stride, the African immediately swung a leg at it and volleyed the ball past the keeper.
3) Shinji Kagawa vs Tottenham Hotspur
Kagawa netted his 2nd league goal for the Red Devils after his summer move from Dortmund.
A comfortable spell in midfield for Manchester United against a Spurs team who were struggling to cope with the pressure forced against them, a slick turn by Robin Van Persie fooled Clint Dempsey and allowed him the space to roll a defence splitting pass through to Kagawa, who neatly finished with a beautiful controlled turn followed by a sweeping shot into the far post.
4) Adel Taarabt vs West Ham
Taarabt once again showed why he was once one of the hottest properties in Europe not so long ago, with this touch of quality against the Hammers.
When a high ball was played towards him, Taarabt quickly took it under control and cut inside the West Ham defender. In a position where he is most dangerous, the Moroccan took a step towards goal before unleashing a trademark curler past the rooted goal keeper.
5) Luis Suarez vs Norwich
The Uruguayan loves playing at Carrow Road, he has now scored back to back hat-tricks away to the Canaries.
As the crowd riled Suarez and mocked him for his earlier misses, the little forward took advantage of a misunderstanding between the centre backs of Norwich and nipped in to snatch a sloppy pass, before curling the ball with the outside of his foot from the edge of the area and into Ruddy’s goal.
