You can’t call them boring! In the standout game of the weekend Arsenal played host to London neighbours Fulham.
Arsenal went two goals up through Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski before a Dimitar Berbatov inspired Fulham clawed their way back into match. Following some more twists and turns, most notably a missed Mikel Arteta penalty deep into stoppage time, the match ended 3-3.
It would have been an unhappy reminder for Arsenal fans of their capitulation at St James Park last season when they allowed Newcastle back into the game despite being 4-0 up.
And, with apologies to Arsenal fans, here are the highlights from that match.
