Firework smuggling lunacy in Russia (Video)
This has to be one of the most ludicrous stories that I’ve had the opportunity to write about.
In Russia last week Dynamo Moscow keeper Anton Shunin was hit by a firework thrown by a Zenit St Petersburg fan, the attack left him badly burned and now faces the possibility of losing part of his sight.
How did the fan get fireworks inside the ground I hear you cry? Well the fan in question, a charming young lady by the sounds of things, put the fireworks inside a condom and smuggled them into the stadium inside her. Yes actually in her body.
Now I don’t want to get into the particulars of the female form but she had two options where to conceal the contraband, neither of them particularly appealing.
The game was abandoned after 36 minutes with Moscow leading 1-0 and rather unsurprisingly the Moscow hierarchy are asking the Russian FA for the 3 points to be given to them as a result of the attack.
