The Serie A transfer window is still in full force, with many stars jumping ship to another club to ply their trades. We look at the latest transfer capture for Italian side Napoli, that being Gonzalo Higuain.
The 25-year-old leaves the Spanish giants Real madrid to mark a mark with Napoli. He will probably be wanting to imitate what Diego Maradona had achieved at the Azzurri and maybe even more, who knows.
Higuain is more than capable of scoring, when at Madrid he bagged over 100 goals in 190 appearances and has alot of attack options with his current club being Marek Hamsik and Lorenzo Insigne and also Walter Gargano will give more strength to the side as he returns from a loan spell from Inter.
The exit from Edinson Cavani had left Napoli fans wondering who would be capable of filling such big shoes form the Uruguyan. Cavani will now be solidifying a partnership with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and hoping to get Paris Saint-Germain a title. On the other side, Napoli will be hoping that new coach Rafa Benitez would show Serie A current champions Juventus what his team is capable of without the goal-scoring machine Cavani.
Higuain will fit in perfectly at the Partenopei and create a lot of buzz once comes up against Juventus as he was very very close to had plying his trade with them.
