Sky Sports Spanish football expert Guillem Balague revealed last night on Revista de la Liga the departures from Barcelona this summer and that could include Fabregas.
Balague explained just how big a summer it will be for the Catalan club since their transfer ban has been suspended by Fifa pending their appeal.
Barcelona will be targeting a minimum of four or five new signings, two of top quality, young French central defender Aymeric Laporte and former Barcelona and Liverpool keeper Pepe Reina.
But with so many arrivals there must be departures to make room, one being Brazilian right-back Dani Alves and another being another former Gunner Alex Song.
Another name mentioned to be thinking about a departure is Cesc Fabregas, who only re-joined his boyhood club three years ago and fought so hard to do so.
But it has been a disappointing season for Fabregas, he has been played out of position in the majority of his 26 La Liga starts, mostly down to Xavi occupying the deep playmaker role.
He has received a lot of criticism from the Catalan media, as well as being jeered by his own fans and must certainly be frustrated.
Balague believes that if Barcelona receive the right offer from England, that they will listen to it and so will Fabregas and his representatives.
Although Manchester United are looking to re-vamp their midfield and would definitely show interest, there’s only one club I can see him going to.
And that’s Arsenal.
