Arsenal managed to keep their heads held high this season despite letting their hold on the Premier League top spot slip, as they have the chance to lift the FA Cup when they meet Hull in the final. If they had another top forward in their ranks, perhaps they would have had more success, but that could all change next season, as Juventus striker Sebastian Giovinco has opened the door for a switch to the Emirates.
The little Italy international is just what the Gunners need.
Olivier Giroud has been run into the ground this season and Arsene Wenger has been unable to shake things up. Rather than having a lumbering target-man who looks to power his way through the opposition, I feel they need a nippy forward who can run beyond the creative players.
Giovinco can offer that. He has been handed only six starts this season due to the strength in depth that Juve currently have, but he has managed to score twice.
When the ball is at his feet and he decides that he wants to run at a defender, it is rare that the opponent can steal it off him, as his footwork is superb. His small frame allows him to burst forward at speed and weave between players, though his time in Turin has been mixed.
This video will show you a little more of what he is about, but I would consider him a good signing for Arsenal.
