THREE Players That Arsenal Should Send Away From The Emirates Before Next Season

Arsenal fans will have a huge smile on their faces today as Mathieu Debuchy and Alexis Sanchez edge closer to signing for the Gunners. The thought of being able to compete with big teams for a world class player is too much for some, and many of those people have taken to the internet to express their relief. However, with this influx of new players something will have to give and a few players have been selected to be sold or go out on loan. This is not just to free up wages, but also to make sharing playing time viable and ensure everyone is happy.

Here are three players that the Gunners should sell or loan this summer:

1. Carl Jenkinson (loan) – The young right-back has been an understudy to Bacary Sagna since he signed from Charlton Athletic. He did experience consistent first team football when Sagna broke his leg a couple of seasons ago, seriously impressing and being touted as a future England star. However, inconsistent performances and the form of Sagna have since kept him out the team. With Debuchy almost an Arsenal player, I think Jenkinson needs a loan move to another Premier League side.

2. Yaya Sanogo (loan) – The tall Frenchman’s future at Arsenal has been subject to much debate, with Joel Campbell impressing so much at the World Cup and the Gunners looking to sign a new striker. It seems like Arsene Wenger wants to keep Sanogo at Arsenal and I think he should be kept. He is a raw talent, but has the ingredients to eclipse Olivier Giroud. The two are very similar, but Sanogo has pace and flair about him which gives him another dimension to his compatriot.

3. Mathieu Flamini (sell) – This sale all depends on a few things. It can only happen if Arsenal keep Mikel Arteta and Francis Coquelin and if a new right-back is signed. The Gunners are looking to buy a new defensive midfielder, which will spell the end of his career in the middle of the park at the Emirates. However, his versatility allows him to also play full-back, so there is a chance he could be kept for that. If Coquelin is sold then Flamini could be useful, but if not then the 30-year-old should be sold.
