The ever reliable Gianluca Di Marzio  website have reported just a while ago that Lukas Podolski has completed his medical for Inter Milan and very soon the official announcement is set to be made. The 29 year old German who was frustrated about the lack of gametime at Arsenal will now have the chance to team up with Roberto Mancini for the San Siro side to push them for a Champions League berth next season. The report claims that he arrived at the clinic at 8 AM local time and the check up was complete under 2 hours at 9:45 AM. With Podolski leaving Arsenal to join Inter on a six month loan deal, Arsenal could well be boosting their attacking strengths by the time the January transfer window slams shut.

There is no doubt that Podolski’s arrival will be a massive boost for Inter who are currently struggling in the Serie A and are desperate to return to Champions League action as quickly as possible.
