Chelsea have now made an offer to sign Valencia’s midfielder sensation Andre Gomes, according to recent reports. The Blues want to add to more midfield options, with the view of strengthening the squad and have been keeping tabs on Gomes since he made the move to the Spanish outfit last year, from Benfica.

Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho is a big fan of this talented youngster and is prepared to shell out around £25.7million to make the deal happen. Despite this, the club are not keen on selling and the west London side might have to make a higher bid that that. The Premier League leaders would be expected to return with a better offer, if they want to be a serious contender to sign the 21 year old. The midfield superstar is best known for his elegant passing and the ability to run across the pitch covering a lot of ground and could surely be one for the future.
