Bayern Munich Superstar Talks About Chelsea’s Eden Hazard Playing In The Bundesliga

Ribery

Bayern Munich’s Franck Ribery does not believe that Belgian superstar Kevin De Bruyne is the right one for the Bundesliga champions, after recent speculations linked him to the club. The 23 year old was being considered as a potential future replacement for Ribery or Dutch winger Arjen Robben at the club, but now the Frenchman has clearly stated that Eden Hazard is a far better choice.

Though the former Chelsea man has been superb since joining Wolfsburg and especially this season, he has been strongly linked with Manchester City and Bayern, as well. Now, Sport Bild has claimed that the German champions are considering him as a potential replacement for the 31 year old wingers. Both wingers have been struggling with injuries and the French international told Sport Bild,

“Believe me, in this world, you won’t find players like me or Arjen that easily, with all due respect. Of course, the club needs to contemplate about what happens once we have left, but Arjen and I are not done yet.”

He clearly did mention that former Chelsea midfielder De Bruyne is not likely to be the man to replace either of them and added,

“He’s a super player, but when I see him I note that he’s different to Arjen and me.”

“He’s not a player who takes the ball and starts dribbling, and likes to have the opponent in front of him. De Bruyne’s super when he has the space on the counter attack, but at Bayern you usually only have three, four metres — no huge spaces. But he is a good player, and he is still young. He can still learn.”

Anyways, Ribery believes Chelsea’s Eden Hazard would surely be a better chance.

“He attacks all of the time. He loves to run at his opponent. But he plays at Chelsea. This could be very expensive for Bayern.”

Further talking about his future Ribery with the club and what Pep Guardiola might plan, he concluded,

“A lot of it is also down to the coach’s wishes. And, today, we don’t even know who will be the coach by then [after the contract expires].”
