Transfer Happening? Atletico Madrid Wants Chelsea Star Back At Madrid

Filipe Luis could be heading back to Atletico Madrid with the way that things seem to be going on at the moment. The Brazilian has failed to make a major impact with current club Chelsea and manager Jose Mourinho could be looking to sell him back to the former La Liga champions.

Also, the Portuguese boss in interested in buying some other players in Diego Simeone’s squad and might consider a swap deal in the summer.The Spanish media have been highlighting the 29-year old’s potential return for his former club and the left-back could be set for a return.

The Spanish giants are in need of some quality players as well, after losing their title to Barcelona this season. Atletico did not want him to leave in the first place and would surely be willing to have him back.

His relations with many of his former team-mates is still good and Tiago recently spoke to Spanish newspaper AS, claiming that his friend could return soon. He said, “We all know Felipe. I love him. If he is not happy then he knows the doors are open here. Here we always want players who have served the club and I have no doubt that he’d be well received.”
