Arsene Wenger has identified Lorient duo Morgan Amalfitano and Kevin Gameiro as summer targets, as Wenger plots a summer of rebuilding.
Amalfitano is a free agent in the summer and the Mirror reports that Arsenal has submitted a bid for the 26-year old, who is also being chased by Villa and Spanish club Sevilla.
Promising striker Gameiro has made it clear he wants to join a Champions League outfit and the 23-year old would be available for around £12million. The French international has netted 20 goals in 33 appearances for the club and looks set to leave Ligue 1 this summer.
