Another Scandinavian to United, surely he’s guaranteed to succeed!

Christian Eriksen impressed at the world cup, in a Danish side where the main goalscoring ‘threat’ was supposed to come from Nicklas Bendtner. Not much hope there then.

Eriksen will be the next in a line of Scandinavian’s who have moved to the Red Devils, with good reputations hoping to improve them under the tutelage of Sir Alex Ferguson.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Peter Schmeichel both wrote their names into the history of Old Trafford when they graced the Red side of Manchester and with United’s midfield screaming out for reinforcements Eriksen looks the answer.

Mini Jar Jar Binks (Anderson) is out for a good while longer, and even if he returns early, it’ll hardly make much of a difference for United, I mean what does he actually do for the team aside from lose possession and score tap ins?

Phil Jones reinforced midfield and in doing so looked the most capable central midfielder in the United squad. Even though he’s only 19 and a central defender.
