Help me Roman Abramovich, you’re my only hope

These are the words of Owen Coyle, and for the second year running no less. With Bolton and Coyle’s tenure in the Premiership looking shaky, the wily Scotsmen is looking to dip into the ever so fruitful abundance of young talent in the shopping window for loan signing.

First it was Jack Wilshere, he’s down well hasn’t he? Then Daniel Sturridge, not a bad player this season I guess?

Now who is to be sent to the Coyle finishing school? The next in a line of young English talent, Josh McEachran is set to join the Trotters ranks until the end of the season to provide a bit of fluidity and drive to a Bolton midfield devoid of creativity.

McEachran has been on the bench regularly for Chelsea this season and looks set for a bright future under Andre Villas-Boas’s new look Chelsea, so some first-team games may be just what the lad needs to make him ready for the first team next season. 

Aston Villa are also looking at the talented youngster to add some creativity to their midfield, while McEachran’s superior passing game could also fit in well at Brendan Rodgers’ Swansea. 

Where he goes could decide these teams season’s. Whether he goes to Bolton or not could very well be the difference between a fall to the dark side of the football league or survival.
