Poland v Czech Republic

Paul Hill- Poland 2-0 Czech Republic. I fancy Poland to finally achieve their first competitive win in Euro Championships finals today. Robert Lewandowski should be too much for this average Czech side. The Germans are the Poles most likely opposition in the Quarter finals, in what should be a tasty clash!

Ben McAleer- Poland 3-1 Czech Republic Can’t see beyond Poland for this one and to see them progress to the next round. They have combined an excellent balance between power and skill and it will be more than enough to put Czech Republic out. Kuba to open the scoring, perhaps not as stunningly as his strike against Russia.

George Powell-

Scott Balaam- Czech Rep. 1-1 Poland – It’s not going to be a good day for the co-hosts, whilst
I can see them finishing undefeated I expect the Czechs to draw and progress. They opened with a nightmare but managed to beat Greece, for this one Milan Baros will finally open his account for the competition.

Oliver Wilson-

Brad Smith – Czech Republic 2 Poland 2 – Im backing there to be goals in this one. The Czechs can’t afford to sit back and play for the draw, if they do, then the Polish will take this game. Back Lewandowski to score at some point, and the Polish are more likely winners than the Czechs I think, although im backing the score draw.

Greece v Russia

Paul Hill- Greece 1-2 Russia. Russia should win this one and go through as group winners. The club connections of Zenit and CSKA has proved pivotal for them so far this month and a depleted Greek back-line won’t be able to handle this in-form outfit.

Ben McAleer- Greece 0-2 Russia The Greeks have failed to turn up to Euro 2012, unfortunately, and only a win will see them through, something I cannot see happening. Have a feeling Kerzhakov will come good this evening.

George Powell-

Scott Balaam- Greece 0-2 Russia – The Greeks have had mixed fortunes, Poland should’ve buried
them in the first 45 minutes of the opener, but then they could’ve won in the second 45. TOday is going to see them head home, they come up against a very strong Russian side. The star man will be Alan Dzagoev, a player who has impressed everyone in his previous two games.

Oliver Wilson-

Brad Smith- Russia 2 Greece 0 – The Greeks have just one point… and were lucky to get that. Dont expect Russia to roll over, they will want to win the group and avoid the Germans. A confident win here, and Dzagoev should just do what he has been doing, and Russia will glide through this game, and stamp their mark on the competition.
