Predict the score

Each on a Saturday morning I am going to predict the results for one of the leagues fixtures chosen at random in England. This week I am predicting the scores for the Blue square Conference Premier. A correct result is two points a correct score is one point.

Telford v Lincoln City (2-0)

Telford have had a reasonable start to the season and Lincoln haven’t. At home I believe Telford can win this one.

Alfreton v Luton (1-3)

Luton have got off to a flying start and haven’t lost away from home yet this season. They have the early top scorer in Stuart Fleetwood so I believe plenty of goals may be scored. Alfreton haven’t had as good a start having lost 3 in the last 5 matches.

Cambridge v Wrexham (1-2)

Wrexham should pick up an away win having won the last 3. Cambridge haven’t won in the last 4 matches.

Ebbsfleet v Mansfield (0-2)

Ebbsfleet have had a bad start to the season and haven’t registered a win in their last 6 matches, where as Mansfield have just started to be a bit of a role.

Gateshead v Dartford (3-3)

These two teams sit next to one another in the table so it could be quite close. Both teams have scored and let in plenty of goals already this season so there could be a few in this match.

Grimsby Town v Forest Green Rovers (1-1)

Grimsby have only lost 1 match all season and have drawn 3. Forest Green are unbeaten so far this season so the game could be quite tight.

Hyde v Hereford (0-2)

Hyde haven’t won a match so far this season where as Hereford are sitting just out of the play-offs.

Kidderminster v Southport (1-1)

Both teams sit near the bottom of the table and are struggling a bit with consistent form.

Macclesfield Town v Braintree Town (3-0)

Although there isn’t much between these two teams in the league Macclesfield haven’t conceded at home yet but have scored plenty.

Newport County v Stockport County (1-0)

Both teams have had poor recent form; however Newport should edge it being in third place and playing at home I fancy Newport to pick up 3 points.

Tamworth v Barrow (0-0)

Neither team has won in the last 3 matches so I feel this could be a goal less draw.

Woking v Nuneaton (0-1)

Woking have lost their last 4 matches and Nuneaton are just starting to pick up some form.
