Lewis McGugan: Forest talent (Video)

Numerous relegation battes, struggling in their aim to return to the Premier League and multiple managerial switches; times have not been easy for Nottingham Forest over the past couple of seasons. There is reason for optimism, however, as they have begun the 2012-13 season at a blistering pace and this past Saturday they showed resolve in coming from two goals behind to draw with Birmingham City at home.

In Lewis Mcgugan, they have a young, dynamic and exciting midfielder who has a keen eye for the spectacular. It was his incredible strikes that drew me to Mcgugan and I have keenly watched his progress. A product of the Forest youth system Mcgugan has already made 154 appearances for the club and he is only 23. In addition, he has also been called up to England youth teams.

Mcgugan is one to watch and if Forest continue their excellent form and aim for promotion it won’t be long until he is unleashed on the top tier of English football. For now, enjoy some of his finest momentes so far.
