Why sack him now?

I feel for Blackburn Rovers fans I really do!

Their club has been taken over by owners who clearly have no idea about football who frequently make comments to the press which are a combination of not needed and poorly timed! 

These owners also sacked Sam Allardyce and replaced him with Steve Kean! Yes Kean who prior to getting the Blackburn job had no managerial experience.

Fast forward to the present day and Blackburn have been releageted to the second tier of Englih football and Kean is still in charge, despite evidently doing a worser job then Allardyce.

However they’ve started the Championship season in good form, and only NOW do the Venky’s want to get rid of Kean! 

Not when they lost at home to Bolton, not when relegation was confirmed at home to Wigan, but now when they are 3rd in the Championship.

They haven’t actually given him the boot yet; however there are rumours circulating that his time at Ewood Park is coming to an end.

It makes even less sense when you consider the fact Blackburn have spent alot of money as they try and get back into the Premier League at the first attempt, and they’ve actually started well! 

I’m not Kean’s biggest fan, far from it, but to sack him now would be incredibely stupid and with their squad they will be in and around the top six come the end of the season.
