I’m sure none of you will disagree when I say that 2012 was a spectacular year for football.
Chelsea’s remarkable Champions League triumph, Manchester City and Manchester United battling out the title to the very last minute of the season, the scoring exploits of RvP, Messi and Ronaldo, Juventus’s unbeaten march to the Scudetto and, of course, many brilliant goals.
Yes, it’s been fantastic and we can all expect 2013 to hold the similar drama, entertainment and high volume of quality goals.
In the meantime, though, let’s sit back and enjoy the remains of Christmas dinner and indulge in some of the brilliant goals that were scored during this past year.
