Thauvin isn’t exactly a well known quantity for the lovers of the Premier League but this doesn’t mean that Managers are not aware of him across the other side of the Channel. Wenger has always been cautious to invest in January but with Newcastle looking at the teenager, as part of their assault on Ligue 1 they have been carrying out in the last few seasons, the Gunners may to make their move sooner rather than later.
Having represented France at U18, U19 and U20 levels he is no stranger to the limelight, but let’s not pretend he is the Edinson Cavani the manager eluded to wanting, because he is not. The marquee signing the fans at the Emirates have been craving following the big name departures to Alex Song and Robin Van Persie is a separate issue that needs to solved. On the bright side this player could certain provide some flair the north London side were missing at the weekend at Stamford Bridge.
