It is clear that Harry Redknapp was left with a whole mixture of transfer errors to deal with at QPR. The players brought in clearly have talent but are not exactly what you would describe as team players.
The experience of watching Adel Taarabt is like eating Birthday cake. It is very much appreciated every once in a while, but it can’t satisfy your needs all the time. To take the analogy further QPR need to have more bread and butter players who can deliver on all occasions.
A lot of supporters in West London may not want to admit it but Wright Phillips, Hoilett and the R’s flair players have delivered flashes in the pan of what they are capable of at Loftus Road.
If anybody is going to get them firing in the attacking department you suspect it would be Redknapp.
The real issue though lies within finding a Ryan Nelsen replacement, and solidifying the defence. It is here that the Former Tottenham manager has to ensure he gets the right blend or he will be staring down the barrel of Championship football next season.
It is not maybe what fans will expect to see when Redknapp rolls down his car window on transfer deadline day, but it may just save them if they sign some not so illustrious who is disciplined to shore up a shaky spine to the QPR team.
