5 strikers to bolster Tottenham’s attack

We all know of the delicate forward positions at White Hart Lane of late, and in this list we look at 5 players that would bring goals, create goals and just freshen things up in general. 

With Emmanuel Adebayor at the Africa Cup of Nations at the moment, and Jermain Defoe between injuries, summer signing Clint Dempsey has been filling in as a forward.

However, as the American slots back into the midfield Spurs look to add to their options in attack with Andre Villas-Boas likely to move for the Brazilian Leandro Damiao before the window shuts, but in this list we look at players that you may not instantly link to the north London side.

With Manchester City and Manchester United bossing the league with their lethal attacks – especially the latter – and Chelsea and Arsenal starting to pick up goals, Spurs will be looking for extra goals in the shape of a new forward.
