What can I say about the great Italian maestro that is Andrea Pirlo, he has played for all three Serie A rival clubs and is the main play maker for the Azzurri.
His legacy will live on even after he retires as he is one the most influential play-makers in the modern game. The 33 year-old is currently plying his trade for Juventus who sit comfortably at the top of the league ladder in Serie A.
Pirlo, in my opinion was replaced for the departure of Alessandro Del Piero as the formation of “Trequartista”. They both could play well in this position just behind the two strikers, but Juventus had other ideas placing Andrea Pirlo in the midfield using a 3-5-2 formation and letting Alessandro Del Piero depart for Australia.
The Italian international has also played for 3 rival clubs in the Serie A being Inter, AC Milan and Juventus, he has also made a foundation with the Azzurri fetching 97 caps for his country and bagging 11 goals. He is the true precise magician when it comes to the dead ball situation as Pirlo will create fear into any opponents when taking free-kicks.
His achievements have gained him honours by winning with AC Milan 2 Champions League titles, 2 European Cups, 2 Serie A championships, Italian super cup, Fifa world Cup winner and the Coppa Italia.
