It has been a fine season for Manchester United this season. Watching their noisy neighbours Manchester City snatch the Premier League trophy away from them with the last kick of the game last season at the Etihad was, from his own mouth, the most gut wrenching moment of Sir Alex’s 27 year tenure at the club.
So when they thumped Aston Villa 3-0 this week at Old Trafford to confirm themselves as the 2012/13 winners, the relief and joy around the historic old club was there for all to witness.
In this list, instead of focusing on those players who played a huge role in the title win, we look at those players who come bottom of the pile when it comes to how effective they have proved to be this season.
The players included are all there because of statistics, and all of these players have played at least five Premier League games this term.
To start us off, we have the man who came sixth from last on stats, Anderson. The Brazilian has failed to live up to his reputation since being at the club, and his one goal, 10 chances created and 59% duel success in his 13 Premier League games is not good enough for some supporters.
Here is a clip of the 25-year-old so you can make your own minds up.
