Remy’s release clause music to Liverpool’s ears

With Liverpool striker Suarez set to miss the first 6 games of next season after his most recent literal attack on a player, and Brendan Rodgers certain he will resist Bayern Munich, Remy could be the solution to the woe on Merseyside.

With the Frenchman joining only in January and impressing various Premier League club scouts and being eyed by the more elite teams in the league, he clearly has the talent after scoring 5 times in 10 for the R’s. He could be a legitimate alternative for Liverpool if they decide to see out Suarez’s suspension, or if he decides to move on, i cannot see him being able to get through this current escapade and with the Liverpool blind defence they seem to give him, they do not always shower themselves in glory and i feel they may become unstuck and the Uruguyan will be seeking new pastures, especially if Bayern Munich’s supposed interest in him is true, i feel it would be best for Liverpool to move him on and try and forget about how in a way, he has tarnished Liverpool FC at times. Growing up they were always a well regarded, feared and respected team and it seems in recent years, it has kind of fizzled out and they have become let’s say, mortal.

Let’s say Suarez does leave and they do bring in Remy, the end of the season also sees Andy Carroll return to the club so their front line could line up as being Carroll down the middle and Sturridge and Remy either side of him & with the wide men able to play down the centre, as well, they could be an extremely diverse, rotating front line, especially if Coutinho swaps in for Carroll, the front line has potential to be unplayable if all goes to plan. With a £8 million release clause if Rangers do go down, there are certainly teams waiting to pounce if he go (inevitably, he will in my eyes.)
