It is not all bad for Manchester City fans. Yes, Roberto Mancini may be on his way out and the Premier League table is in the hands of their arch rivals Manchester United. And okay they still have the likes of Scott Sinclair and Jack Rodwell on their books. Oh, and their squad of superstars are supposedly close to being dismantled in the summer. However, one man coming the other way is Malaga star Isco, who the Express are reporting is in advanced talk.
The 21-year-old is hot property at the moment and is apparently valued at £27m. The move comes off the back on rumours that Mancini will be replaced by Malaga boss Manuel Pelligrini in the summer and a part of the deal will be to smuggle Isco into the Etihad.
City haven’t had an awful season, in fact they have been solid through the majority of the campaign, however their recent 1-0 loss to Wigan in the FA Cup means that they will finish the season without silverware.
While Sir Alex Ferguson and the United fans share a chuckle at the proceedings across the road, Roberto Mancini is sobbing into a fine bottle of Italian wine in a dark corner in his enormous mansion.
