Portsmouth youngster Jed Wallace has caught the eye of a number of Championship and Premiership sides of late with some impressive performances in the sides League One campaign.
At 19-years-old, Jed has recently received his first call-up to England under-19s and this season made 22 appearances for Portsmouth notching up an impressive 6 goals from midfield.
The likes of Stoke City, Brighton & Hove Albion, Blackburn Rovers, Blackpool and Aston Villa have all been reportedly keeping tabs on the Pompey player.
Wallace has asserted himself as a fans favourite over the past season and everyone at the club is eager to have him on board for next seasons League Two adventure.
Mostly used as a right midfielder last season, Wallace is most comfortable in the centre of midfield where he always seems to want the ball – something you don’t get from too many youngsters these days.
After signing from Farnborough, Portsmouth send Wallace out on loan to Ryman Premier League side Whitehawk where Wallace scored 8 goals in 11 games from his favoured centre midfield position. It was this kind of form that caught the attention of then Portsmouth manager Michael Appleton and convinced him that he was worth a shot.
