A family affair for Edinson Cavani

A few weeks ago it was Edinson Cavani’s mum who was spilling the beans on the possible where abouts of her sons future, now it seems not to be outdone the Uruguayan’s father has put in his two pence worth with ESPN reporting that should the player move on over the Summer then Spain would be the most likely of destinations.

This will come as bitter news to Manchester City who were thought to have identified Cavani as one of their prime summer targets. Cavani’s father though did not just rain on the City bonfire for he indicated that the player had no desire to leave Naples, meaning that a move that many considered to be only a matter of time might now not happen at all.

Real Madrid were believed to be in pole position to sign Serie A’s top scorer, however giving away perhaps more info than Cavani would have liked his father has insisted nothing has been set in stone.
