The rivalry between Arsenal and Manchester United can be likened to a dispute between two brothers, with the oldest one always getting the better of his younger sibling. Manchester United being the former, the Gunners are aching for something to brag about.
The two used to battle it out for Premier League trophies but the Londoners have been on a slippery slope while the Red Devils have continued their silverware winning campaigns. United also snatched the Gooners’ main man Robin van Persie last season and the Dutchman was a major part of the club securing the league trophy.
But relax Arsenal fans. It finally looks as though you’ll be landing a blow to the champions by… errr… paying £15m for their bit-part winger Nani.

The 26-year-old has been labelled as the next Cristiano Ronaldo since he moved to Old Trafford in 2007, but apart from a few explosive goals in the last six years he has never really wowed the United fans.
This season he has made 11 appearances this season and scored just the one goal. He has created 11 chances, has a pass success of 79% and a shot accuracy of 31%.
Andre Santos and Nani down the flanks next season is something to look forward to, eh Gunners? As let’s be honest no one is going to want to take the aforementioned off your hands…
