QPR star wants to stay in Premier League

With the Brazilian keeper seeming to look for a new club after being apart of the relegated QPR team and clearly a top-flight keeper, he would prefer a stay in the Premiership for another season, so is expected to leave Loftus Road.

With Arsenal being constantly linked during the season with Cesar, even when QPR were still a Premier League team, it seems they would be the most likely destination who seems to be reinstated as the Brazil number 1. I don’t think there is a better fit for him in the Premier League, is there? Arsenal have had a somewhat turbulent season in the goalkeeping area and I think a situation in comparison to United, where they have two keepers constantly battling for the jersey instead of Wojiciech Szczesny not having to worry about Fabianski or Mannone pushing him for a starting spot, he only games he doesn’t play is when he wasn’t “mentally fit” and even then he was reinstated into the team a couple of weeks after, and what’s better than having arguably the best keeper in the league of the previous year duelling you for the starting spot.

I’m presuming Cesar would have had a release clause in his contract just in case QPR did get relegated and needed his wages off the already ridiculous weekly total. So maybe next year we could see Cesar wearing the red of North London, but with it being Arsenal, it could all be speculation and may even return to Seria A, we shall see after the Confederations Cup, but all the arrows point and makes logistical sense for him to move to Arsenal, for both parties, albeit I think he’s on about £70,000-£80,000 a week and has 3 years left on his deal, the fee may be around the £10,000,000 mark and he’s surely worth that? Although, don’t take my word for it, can’t find anything on his valuation.#
