Sale of Suarez fuels speculation of Liverpool swooping for Premier League star
Liverpool fans, it is time to let go of Luis Suarez and set him free into the world. Not only will you get mega bucks for the Uruguayan, not you personally, it looks as though the switch will open up a pathway for Belgian forward Christian Benteke.
The Daily Mirror are reporting that the 22-year-old is set for talks regarding his future at Villa Park in the coming weeks and will likely try to force a big money move away from the club, just like Suarez is doing in Merseyside.
Benteke gobbled 19 league goals in his debut season in the Premier League and has been the focus of interest of a huge array of clubs ever since, but with Liverpool in somewhat of striker crisis with Daniel Sturridge injured and the aforementioned Suarez on the cusp of leaving.
Maybe they can swoop for David N’Gog again…

Securing a deal for Benteke ahead of the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham would be a real coup for the club as not only do they not have a place in Europe next season, but it has been well documented that they don’t have a huge amount of money to work with.
