His power, pace and sheer desire has seen him rip Premier League defences apart, including Liverpool’s, and it is thought to be his preference to move to a club either in European competitions or ready to challenge for them.
Talks are supposedly ongoing between the club, Benteke’s agent and the forward himself, but a partnership with Daniel Sturridge has all the makings to be a special one.
