Everyone seems to be induldged in conversation about the comings and goings regarding Arsenal this summer. The gunners have had a huge pool of players linked with them for next season, two of these being Argentine sensation Gonzalo Higuain and Liverpool’s Luis Suarez, but will missing out on the duo prove costly for the north London outfit?
Higuain was said to be very close to joining either Juventus or Arsenal a few weeks back, but eventually chose Rafa Benitez’s Napoli as Juve had chose to pursue the services of Carlos Tevez. And Luis Suarez is now believed to being staying at Liverpool next term, much to the frustration of those at the Emirates.
Arsenal have let go a number of players over the last few years, the main one being Robin van Persie, who is absolutely smashing it with Manchester United. Another is Cesc Fabregas. The Spain international left for Barcelona but now feels he is not wanted at Camp Nou and could be looking to head back to England, and more specifically Arsenal.
In my opinion, if Fabregas did return he would recreate the same drive and ambition that we were once used to seeing for the Gunners, a side which regualarly competed for the Premier League trophy. It would boost his chances to climb back into the Spain side, just in time for the World Cup next year in Rio.
