Will Aaron Ramsey’s Fine Form Last?

There has been a few players who have stood out over the course of this Premier League season, but none more so than Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey. The Wales international has scored eight goals in nine games so far in all competitions, but will his good form last the length of the campaign?

With four goals in his six league outings, Ramsey is joint top scorer with Olivier Giroud. He has hit the target with 60% of his shots, won 63% of his duels and averaged four defensive actions per game, forcing Jack Wilshere into an uncomfortable position on the left.

However, with Mikel Arteta coming back into the side, and Mathieu Flamini now looking untouchable in the middle of the pitch, a question mark hangs over the head of all the central midfielders. Obviously you cannot drop Ramsey at the moment due to his dynamic performances, but give it a few weeks, or perhaps months, and I see him dropping out of the team.

His legs will tire, his goals will dry up and when the likes of Santi Cazorla, Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain come into the side there will surely be a reshuffle, although Wilshere is the man likely to miss out.

I, for one, think it’s brilliant that Ramsey has found his form considering his injury troubles.
