Manchester United have had a few links with Brazil over the years and still hold a few Brazilians in their squad. Although fans of the Old Trafford club will want to forget about the days that Kleberson patrolled their midfield, current right-back Rafael Da Silva and central midfielder Anderson have been more successful, especially the former. Now, as the Daily Star report, they are in for another in the shape of Desportivo Brasil forward Bruno Gomes.
But who is he?
A nippy little forward, Gomes uses his slight frame to squeeze between opposition to expose gaps. The 17-year-old has the pace and intelligence to become a top striker, but should a move to England transpire then a few major gym sessions will be in order as he carries about as much meat as a butcher’s pencil.
He is strong in the air, ambitious with his play and is incredibly composed in front of goal, as you will see in the clip.
The teenager spent time at Old Trafford last summer on trial and was expected to secure some sort of deal with the club, but so far nothing has been signed, and Real Madrid, Udinese and Sao Paulo are all reportedly circling.
Will United get their little silky forward?
