3 Players Liverpool Should Look To Send On Loan In January

We are now seven games into the new Premier League season and managers are starting to find out who their best teams are. Bearing that in mind, here are three Liverpool players I think Brendan Rodgers should look to send on loan come the January transfer window.

1) Luis Alberto

Brendan Rodgers’ desire to play sexy football led him to La Liga as he pinched 21-year-old Luis Alberto from Sevilla in the summer. However, with Daniel Strurridge scoring for fun, and now Luis Suarez returning to first team action, the young forward is unlikely to get much action.

He can also operate as a winger, but with Victor Moses, Iago Aspas, and Raheem Sterling all capable of playing in the wide areas, a loan deal with an option to recall may be best for his progression, as it’s also unlikely that Rodgers wont strengthen in January as well.

2) Andre Wisdom

Liverpool now have strength in depth when it comes to the defence and the 20-year-old is struggling to get any action, even though Glen Johnson is sidelined.

Kolo Toure has been moved to right-back while Daniel Agger, Martin Skertl, Mamadou Sakho and Aly Sissoko patrol the central areas.

A loan to a club in the Premier League would be ideal for Wisdom.

3) Jordan Ibe

It seems as though only Liverpool fans know just how talented this chap is, and for the reasons given for Alberto it is likely to stay that way.

The nippy winger is no stranger to lower league football, however, as he previously played for Wycombe.
