3 Real Madrid Players Chelsea Should Be Looking At

Chelsea have been linked with almost every football player on the planet. But here are three Real Madrid players that I think would suit the Blues.

1) Sami Khedira

Although the Blues currently have Michael Essien, Jon Obi Mikel and David Luiz who can play as defensive midfielders, and Ramires and Frank Lampard who are currently being used in the central roles, the long term future of all of the above is uncertain.

Essien hasn’t featured yet, Mikel has been linked with a move across Europe and Luiz was apparently a target for Barcelona over the summer. Frank Lampard’s legs are aging, and so is his contract, and Ramires is said to be on Madrid’s radar.

Mourinho knows Khedira, and vice versa, and could be the staple in the side.

2) Sergio Ramos

Spanish sources are linking the Spaniard with a switch to Stamford Bridge, and I for one think it would be a good move. Now 27, Ramos is at the peak of his career and has the experience to help Chelsea to the title. He has completed 89% of his passes this season, as well as 18/21 of his tackles and 38/52 of his headers.

3) Karim Benzema

The word on the street is that the France international will be leaving the Spanish capital sometime soon, and according to the Standard it will help fund a move for Radamel Falcao from Monaco.

Chelsea need a forward + Benzema needs a new home = ?

The 25-year-old has scored four goals in 10 games so far this season.

What part of the squad does Mourinho need to invest in?
