Mesut Ozil vs Napoli (video)

I am deciding to do all three of my video blogs today on match compilations. Although they have all featured Mesut Ozil so far, he just happens to be the one I have found after a little bit of digging and scrolling.

The next compilation is of Mesut Ozil’s quite remarkable performance against Napoli a couple of weeks ago, in which Arsenal ran out 2-0 victors. An incredible goal to get him off the mark at Arsenal and yet another assist to round off an extremely good game from the German.

What makes this win more meaningful for Arsenal, shall we say, is that, despite winning almost all their games up until that point, they still faced a lot of criticism because fans of other clubs believed that the opposition they played against was of a lower quality. However, Arsenal not only silenced the critics but also wowed them.

The whole Arsenal team played spectacularly. Ozil acted as the heartbeat in attack, the tactics were spot on and ultimately the Gunners made a very strong Napoli side look distinctly average. Not many people would have thought they’d be saying that after the full time whistle.

Arsenal will face Norwich before they play their next Champions League game, which will be against Borussia Dortmund. Arsene Wenger will also hope to have Santi Cazorla and Theo Walcott fully fit for that game.
