10 Premier League Players Who Could Be On The Move This January – Includes Chelsea Pair

Ahead of the January transfer window, here are 10 players who could be making a move in the new year.

1) Wilfried Zaha

The Manchester United winger is yet to feature for the club since his move from Crystal Palace and has been mentioned with a move away for some time now.

2) Demba Ba

Ba isn’t getting a look in at Chelsea right now and it’s been rumoured that Newcastle are interested in offering a way back up north.

3) Thomas Vermaelen

The Belgian has struggled hugely with injury over the last year and reports are linking him with a switch to Serie A. A loan deal wouldn’t be a huge shock.

4) Luis Alberto

Arriving from La Liga this summer, Alberto has struggled to dismantle Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez up top and could be sent on loan.

United seem to have run out of patience with the winger and his days at Old Trafford look numbered. There will be plenty of Premier League interest in January, I would have thought.

Yet to play a game for the Blues this season, Essien is struggling to break into Mourinho’s first team plans.

The Swede has now recovered from a long term injury and illness and is on the hunt for first team action, which could lead him away from Manchester City.

David Moyes’ desire to get his hands on Baines will surely lead the Scot back to Goodison Park again in the new year. But will he get his man?

With Sergio Aguero, Alvaro Negredo and Stevan Jovetic up top at City, Dzeko was always going to find it tough this season, especially as the fans have turned against him. I expect Dzeko to leave in January.
