Is Henderson’s Flexibility Proving A Hindrance On His Performances At Liverpool?

Although Liverpool have enjoyed a positive season so far, there have been a few areas where the Reds can strengthen. Their second half performances have been lacklustre, they have had a few problems at the back and a few players haven’t been able to reach the heights they’re capable of.

One man who I include in that bracket is Jordan Henderson, who doesn’t seem to have a particular role at Anfield.

Don’t get me wrong, the former Sunderland midfielder has had an impressive season given the circumstances, but there is so much more to him than some people realise.

He is a player who has the utmost determination and is willing to runs himself into the ground to win back possession for the Reds. He is also technically able, too – he has completed completing 85% of his passes and created 15 chances already.

He has played every minute of the Premier League season, which tells you of his importance to the Reds, but he has played in the deep central roles, the pocket behind the striker and on the right this season, and I think if he stays in the one position then he will be able to offer so much more.

Liverpool fans, where do you see his best position?
