3 Players Who Would Make Baines To Manchester United Sweeter For The Toffees

Leighton Baines is an extraordinary player, there is no doubt about that. Last season he created more chances that both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo combined, and he also chipped in with five goals. Baines is continually being linked away from Everton, and should he make switch to Manchester United this January then here are three players who could make the deal sweeter by coming in the other way.

1) Alex Buttner

The Netherlands international is the obvious choice as he too is a left-back, and although he is not at the ability of Baines right now he is an energetic full-back who is powerful when getting forward.

Roberto Martinez has relied on Baines and Seamus Coleman as the Spaniard plays three at the back and Buttner could find his form at Goodison Park.

2) Wilfried Zaha

An exciting, young winger who loves running at people and who could really benefit Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian thrives on delivery into him and some extra width in the side couldn’t hurt that.

3) Anderson

Anderson is a strong player who loves carrying the ball but has found himself on the sidelines at Old Trafford. Alongside Ross Barkley he could make the central midfield a real solid unit should he get a switch.
