Juventus Targeting Manchester United Playmaker For January Move, But Here’s Why They Need To Keep Hold

When Paul Pogba was picked up by Juventus last year it went down as one of the shrewdest pieces of business of the summer. Now it seems as though the Serie A side will be back on the phone to the Manchester United board regarding a transfer of their midfielder, this time the out of favour Shinji Kagawa, according to Sports Direct News.

However, David Moyes needs to keep hold of the Japan international at all costs, in my opinion.

Kagawa was an incredible player when he was at Borussia Dortmund, running things from the central areas. However since he arrived at Old Trafford we have only seen glimpses of what he is capable of. If Moyes can get the best out of Kagawa – we have put some suggestions on how to do just that for the former Everton boss –  then United have a remarkable player on their hands.

Last season he made 20 appearances, and although only five of those were the full 90 minutes, he managed 20 key passes and six goals in the Premier League. He also racked up a pass success of 90%.

Kagawa has all the makings of the perfect midfield partner for Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini and losing him to Juventus, or any other club for that matter, could be serious bad news for United.
