Chelsea Ready To Fight For Striker With 9 Goals In 12 Games This Season – Player Report

When you have a trio of strikers in your side, and between them they have scored just three goals this season, you know something isn’t quite right. While Fernando Torres has two, Samuel Eto’o has scored one and Demba Ba has zero, the man that the Express are linking them with has far more.

Not only does Robert Lewandowski have nine goals in his 12 Bundesliga appearances, but he also has three goals in his four Champions League appearances.

The 25-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and is being chased by the likes of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Arsenal, but Jose Mourinho seems intent on landing a goal-getter in the new year, and the Poland international could well be the one.
