It was always going to be difficult to fill the boots of Sir Alex Ferguson. The wily old Scot was at the Manchester United helm for over 27 years and won a wealth of silverware, including 13 Premier League titles, five FA Cups and two Champions League trophies.
David Moyes came into the mix having won, err, nothing, but having had some impressive seasons under Everton.
He has since come in and already lost to the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and West Brom while also dropping points to Cardiff, Southampton and Chelsea and they currently sit sixth in the table after 13 games, already seven points behind leaders Arsenal.
It has been a difficult start to the season by all means but they are still, just, in the running for the title and are in a comfortable position in the Champions League.
But there have been more low points than highs this season and I thought that I would take the time to run through three of them.
