It’s hard to say how Tottenham will fare against the other Manchester Club this Sunday when they travel back home to White Hart Lane to face Manchester United.
Hopefully for them, it won’t be another embarrassing defeat, However, Manchester United weren’t too lucky this past weekend either, drawing with Cardiff City 2-2. Manchester United are currently sitting at 5th in the Premier League, while Tottenham are 9th, however, only one point separates these two clubs so a win here would be massive for either side. I personally feel that Manchester United will take this one, but who knows, maybe a shock loss like the one that Tottenham suffered last week was exactly what they need to whip them back into shape.
United does have the edge though, and even though they’re the away side I think they’ll travel back to Manchester with the three points. There is so much talent on the United side, it is a bit confusing as to why they are in their current position in the table.
They have some of the best strikers in the world; Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie, and Javier Hernandez are all top class. Their keeper, David De Gea is an exceptional talent as well, and he’s young too, he will only be getting better. The United midfield and defense has top class players as well, much more than can be said about Tottenham. Maybe a win here can boost Manchester United and out them back into the title race they very much deserve to be in.
