A Closer Look At How Chelsea Faltered At Stoke

After a roller coaster ride of a few games, Chelsea were handed yet another embarrassing defeat this past weekend, this time at the hands of Stoke City. The loss, coupled with a great Liverpool win over West Ham have knocked the Blues out of second place and back into third in the Premier League table. Chelsea started off well, with a great goal from Andre Schurrle in the 9th minute – in fact, Schurrle had a pretty good performance, scoring both goals for Chelsea, the second in the 53rd minute.

Italian Clubs Fighting For Their Lives in the Champions League

With the loss from Juventus yesterday, sending the Italian club out of the Champions League, it seems as if the remaining Italian clubs are fighting for their survival as well today in the last match day. AC Milan are playing Ajax, both clubs are only separated by one point in group h. While Napoli are playing Arsenal, Napoli are currently tied with Boruissa Dortmund in the middle of the table on 9 points. All matches are being played in Italy however, so both clubs have home field advantage.

World Cup 2014 Questions and Concerns

With the 2014 World Cup draw just around the corner, this Friday in Brazil, it’s time to really start counting down the days until the competition starts next summer. Four years has gone by so quickly, it seems like we were just in South Africa watching Spain lift the trophy after the final match.
