Premier League Predictions: Can Manchester City Win Away? Will Arsenal Stretch Their Lead At The Top? Round Up

Tonight we see almost a full set of fixtures in the Premier League. Will Arsenal crush Hull? Will Manchester City win away from the Etihad? Can Liverpool keep up with the pace? Will Chelsea falter in the North East yet again? What do you think? Here is our round up of predictions.

Arsenal vs Hull

Arsene Wenger’s men host a Hull City side who claimed a victory over high flying Liverpool last weekend. Steve Bruce’s men face a tough task to get anything from the league leaders and I think the likes of Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey will have too much for them.

Prediction: Arsenal 2-0 Hull

Liverpool vs Norwich

Chris Hughton saw his Canaries pick up a vital three points against Crystal Palace at the weekend but will be up against it at Anfield. Despite Daniel Sturridge being out injured, I think the Reds will coast past Norwich this evening.

Prediction: Liverpool 4-0 Norwich

Manchester United vs Everton

Perhaps the most interesting tie of the night as a number of players, and coaching staff, go up against their former employers. United’s weak midfield could be exploited by young Ross Barkley, so I am going for an away win, against the odds.

Prediction: Manchester United 2-3 Everton

Southampton vs Villa

Although it may not be the most exciting game in the world, it will be interesting to see how Mauricio Pochettino’s pressing system works on a side who are predominantly set up for counter-attacking football. Southampton have now lost two in a row and I expect Villa to get something from the game.

Prediction: Southampton 1-1 Villa

Stoke vs Cardiff

Both are coming into the game after being thrashed at the weekend, the former losing 4-0 to Everton and the latter 3-0 to Arsenal, so will be desperate to bounce back. For me, Stoke’s home form will be too much for the Welshmen to pick up a win but a draw looks likely.

Prediction: Stoke 0-0 Cardiff

Sunderland vs Chelsea

Gus Poyet welcomes his former team to the Stadium of Light looking to replicate the 2-0 win that North East Rivals Newcastle managed last month. Unfortunately for them, thanks to an array of attacking options, I think this will be an easy Chelsea win.

Prediction: Sunderland 1-3 Chelsea

Swansea vs Newcastle

Michael Laudrup’s men have struggled in the league this season while Newcastle are sitting nicely in sixth, just a point off the top four. This one is likely to be a high-scoring affair with the away side coming out on top.

Prediction: Swansea 1-3 Newcastle

Fulham vs Tottenham

Spurs have looked toothless so far this season and are now four games without a win, but Andre Villas-Boas will be expecting to beat the Cottagers tonight. They have lost their last six games in all competitions and are struggling for confidence, and I feel that Tottenham’s quality will eventually shine through.

Predicion: Fulham 0-3 Spurs

West Brom vs Manchester City

This is the perfect game for City to show the nation that they can beat tough opponents away from home. The Hawthorns has been a fortress for the Baggies over the last year but City’s god-like squad will probably be too much for them to handle.

Prediction: West Brom 1-4 City
